The clinical study of 654 cases of C.V.A patients

Abstract
|
|
|
During 1998.1.1-12.31, the result of study of 654 cases of C.V.A patients who admited daejon oriental hospital is as follows.
1. The sexual rate is similar(male:female=1.004:1) and the frequency of age is most in sixties.
2. The cb-infartion(74.15%) is 4.2 times higher than I.C.H(17.58%) and Hypertensive encephalopathy is 4.43%, T.I.A 3.66%, S.A.H 0.15%.
3. In order of precedent disease, Hypertension comes first(61.50%) then Diabetes(16.00%), Cardiac disease(6.33%) and finally Respiratory disease.
4. C.V.A is most frequent in family history, then comes Hypertension, Diabetes.
5. The rate of reattack is 50.61% and the rate of the several attacked in this group is 34.12%.
6. The incidence is the highest in January and the frequency in season, spring comes first, then summer, winter and fall.
7. C.V.A most frequently attacked when sleeping time(27.3%) and active time(27.3%), then comes resting time. I.C.H most frequently attacked when active time.
8. In order of admission period, 8-14 days(30.27%) comes first, then 7 days, 15-21 days, 22-28 days, 57 days above, 29-35 days, 43-49 days, 50-56 days, and 36-42 days.
9. In order of admission path, direct admission(56.11%) comes first, then through hospital, local oriental clinic, clinic, oriental hospital.
10. In order of symptom of admission, hemiparesis comes first, then dysarthria, dizziness, headache, nausea, dysphagia, facial palsy, chest discomfort, palpitation, urinary disorder, and mental disorder.
11. In order of symptom of discharge, hemiparesis comes first, then dysarthria, dizziness, headache, facial palsy, dysphagia, mental disorder, urinary disorder, chest discomfort, palpitation, and hyposomia.
12. The improvement rate of hemiparesis in upper limb, discharging, is 66.60% and in lower limb 65.51%.
13. The improvement rate of dysarthria, discharging, is 71.63%.
14. The improvement rate of nausea·vomiting, discharging, is 88.04%.
15. Most patients(75.42%) who accepted P.T(350 cases) started in a week.
16. In E.K.G, myocardial ischemia is most, then comes atrioventricular heart block, left ventricular ischemia, bradycardia, and tachycardia.
17. In order of figure of serum cholesterol, 220 mg/㎗ below comes first, then 220-300 mg/㎗, and 300 mg/㎗ above.
18. West medication is taken in 86.69% of patients.
19. The patient living Daejeon is 56.26% and the urban patient is two times higher than agricultural ones.
20. In order of period from incidence to admission, 1 day(42.2%) comes first, then 1-2 days, 6-10 days, 3-4 days, 11 days above, and 4-5 days.
21. The most frequently used Herb-med which is used in 5 days below is Dodamhwalhultang(25.54%) and the most frequently used Herb-med which is used in 5 days above is also Dodamhwalhultang(23.15%).
